Huntersville - Cornelius

Huntersville is on of Mecklenburg County's oldest cities.  Huntersville has maintained its country charm, however, it is also experiencing much of the same growth as other parts of the county.  The town of Cornelius  has a strong manufacturing and retail area.    Cornelius also offers some of the area's favorite restaurants including The Stock Car Cafe.  You will also find many shopping options including Shops on the Green, Lakeshore Marketplace, Southlake and Lakeshore Marketplace.  Located near to Davidson College, there are many opportunities for educational and cultural enrichment.  The Lake Norman Family Branch of the YMCA is located in Cornelius.  Each year from June to October the North Mecklenburg Farmers Market is held every Saturday at Cornelius Elementary School.
